Description

The Exchange Tower is truly the heartbeat of Canadian business. Home to the Toronto Stock Exchange, it is the focal point for the entire financial services industry.

The Exchange Tower is located at 130 King Street West in Toronto, the corner of York Street and King Street. It is situated in a prime location within the heavily commercialized Downtown Financial District. The building is 36 floors containing 1,026,222 square feet of rentable space with a typical floor containing approximately 25,000 square feet. The main entrance to the building is off King Street, but there is also access from Adelaide Street and York Street. The property is connected to all neighbouring buildings via the underground PATH system. It is uniquely designed to compliment the existing First Canadian Place, sharing a 992 space parking garage, loading dock facilities, concourse and ground floor area. The sharing of facilities creates a unique opportunity to work with another building and independent management team.

The property has undergone major renovations to the office and retail areas which include a new front lobby, new food court and a program to upgrade multi tenanted floor lobbies and washrooms. The building also experienced a rather unique redevelopment project when the Toronto Stock Exchange eliminated the old trading floor and installed a second floor in their existing space. This added approximately 27,000 square feet of new space to the building.
