This piece is a gentle reminder to myself and, I hope, to others, to trust our intuition, even when things feel uncertain. It’s about learning to accept change, letting things unfold in their own time, and noticing small moments of peace along the way. I hope it offers something quiet and encouraging to those passing through Brookfield Place - a brief pause in the rush of daily life, and a moment to believe in the impossible and flow with the journey.
About the artist: British-born artist Hayley Welsh has established herself as one of the most exciting creatives in the urban art scene. Following shows in London, Miami and New York, her whimsical street art has become fondly recognised for it’s surreal wide-eyed characters, adorning walls across Australia, UK, USA and Europe. Weaving a poignant narrative into every piece, her artworks leave us engaged and intrigued, as her gentle lost creatures try to find their way home.
