This exciting programme brings acclaimed photographic work into the public realm, aiming to inspire creativity and foster community engagement. These exhibitions are designed to spark dialogue and deepen appreciation for contemporary photography.

In 2025, Aldgate Tower will showcase work from four celebrated artists:

Gohar Dashti, Daido Moriyama, Alma Haser, and Saïdou Dicko.

Alma Haser

Born in Germany’s Black Forest in 1989, Alma Haser is a UK-based artist known for her intricate, sculptural portraiture. Blending photography with paper folding, collage, and mixed media, her work pushes the boundaries of traditional portraiture.

Her critically acclaimed projects include Cosmic Surgery, The Ventriloquist (4th Prize, Taylor Wessing Portrait Prize), and Eureka Effect (PDN Photo Annual Award). Her work has been exhibited internationally, celebrated for its conceptual depth and visual originality.

In April 2025, Haser will launch a new project at The Photographers’ Gallery that explores German idioms through playful, three-dimensional imagery, reflecting her bilingual upbringing and lifelong fascination with language.
