About the work

Created by renowned American artist, Ned Khan, Feather Arbour is a dynamic, outdoor public art piece which was unveiled with the opening of Brookfield Place Tower 2. The artwork responds to the themes of light, discovery and memory –a s well as taking into account the environmental conditions of the site. Feather Arbour a work evocative of feathers and fish fins, subtly references the nearby Swan River ecosystem. Like most of Kahn’s installations the work is a combination of science, art and technology, replicating the forms and forces of nature, reflecting the unseen movement of wind.
