Drew Klassen is a Canadian painter originally from Toronto, whose work is held in numerous public, corporate, and private collections across Canada and abroad. He continues to exhibit widely, exploring the expressive possibilities of landscape through abstraction. His technique relies on broad, sweeping brushstrokes and a subdued, natural colour palette to produce calm, intuitive views of landscape. He often balances geometric and organic forms and builds up lightly texturized layers of paint to suggest light, atmosphere, and distance.
