The Terra Collection is inspired by the intricate topographical forms of our planet and the organic curves shaped by natural forces over time. This collection celebrates the rugged resilience that defines our Earth. Terra No. 28 captures the Bow River flowing through downtown Calgary, brought to life in a muted, mottled sage-green palette.

About the artist
Shawni Tolman, a Calgary-based artist, known professionally as Muddy by Natur, creates textured, earth-inspired works using unorthodox materials such as mortar, hydrostone, cement, and grout. Raised in Southern Alberta by an archaeologist father, her early fascination with soil, sediment, and natural formations shaped a practice rooted in the tactile history of the land. Tolman’s technique combines construction-grade mediums with a sculptural approach to surface, producing works that echo the rugged marks, cracks, and contours found in nature.
