Brookfield Properties becomes the first commercial real estate company in India to receive Bureau Veritas’ Safeguard label

We have become the first commercial real estate company in the country to receive a prestigious ‘Safeguard’ label from Bureau Veritas for our commitment to ensure a high-quality work environment—in terms of health, safety and hygiene for employees and occupants at our campuses in Gurugram, Noida, Mumbai and Kolkata. The initiatives that we have been undertaking at our campuses include physical distancing, protective suits for the cleaning crew, periodic fumigation, contactless hand sanitizers, maintaining good indoor air quality, regular temperature checks at entryways, restricting elevator usage to four persons at a time, routine health checkups and staff training, app-based visitor management solutions, a dedicated helpline number in case of emergencies and cleaning and sanitizing common areas which include reception, staircases, elevators, lobbies, etc.

We are proud to be associated with Bureau Veritas in having our campuses assessed and certified for the Safeguard label. As our tenants return to the physical workplace, we continue to train and monitor our teams on good hygiene practices and ensure that protective measures are properly implemented on our campuses.
