The Sewa Tales CSR Roundtables by Sewa Bridge, hosted by Brookfield Properties, were conducted at 45 ICON, Pune, and at Worldmark Aerocity, New Delhi, in June 2025. Driving dialogue and vision, these events focused on corporate India’s efforts for outreach and empowerment.
At Brookfield Properties, planning futures is about strategizing beyond immediate goals. It’s about envisioning impacts that are wide, high and deep. Tipping a hat to the United Nations’ decree of 2026 as International Volunteer Year, Sewa Tales’ sessions were incredibly power-packed. There were leaders from the likes of Capgemini, Mastercard, Tata Bluescope, Sandvik and other major names. They were men and women keen on real and meaningful progress.
What was up for discussion and debate were some key points based on the upcoming International Volunteer Year:
- Emerging trends in employee volunteering
- Best practices in corporate social engagement
- Stories from professionals leading impact-driven programs
The morning was all about of stimulating conversations, engaging views and a shared vision for what more can be achieved to make “future-ready” a reality. Held at the impressive new lobby of The Waterstones in suburban Mumbai, the session offered an immersive preview of the finished space – an experience of the full scale, design, and vision of the asset.

The UN’s global call for volunteerism towards the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals sparked enthusiasm across the board. Participation offered united validation for investment
in volunteer efforts. It was all about bringing to the fore the Sewa Tales adage – Narratives that Nurture, Stories that Serve. In exchanging ideas, these leaders directly addressed the dynamics of sustainable empowerment and empathy.
The Sewa Tales editions in both Pune and New Delhi steered a new course for corporate volunteering and shared responsibility. To us at Brookfield Properties, fostering such change generates both pride and pleasure.
