Embracing offsite renewable power through India’s first Interstate Transmission System (ISTS) transaction

As part of our effort to contribute to the net zero emissions target by 2040 and to promote energy security, we have taken a significant step by integrating renewable energy into our tech hubs.

For this, we have signed a long-term contract to source clean power from the Brookfield Renewable Bikaner Solar Power Project (BRBSPP) in Rajasthan, which has a full commissioned capacity of 550 MWp.

This bilateral arrangement marks the first commercial and industrial renewable energy transaction in India under the Interstate Transmission System (ISTS).

This initiative is part of Brookfield’s strategy to transition to 100% renewable energy by 2027.

The Noida campuses, Candor TechSpace in sector 62 & 135, are the first beneficiaries, paving the way for similar projects across other Brookfield Properties campuses.
