Throughout Summer 2025, the pavilion will host curated events, live music, and public gatherings, sparking conversation and creativity in the heart of the city: Summer Sounds Busking (Every Thursday | 12 - 2 PM) & Launch Event (9 July | 5:30 - 9:30PM).

Brookfield Properties proudly presents Temple of Relics, a striking Summer Pavilion by artist and designer Simone Brewster. Inspired by the London Festival of Architecture 2025 theme, “Voices”, this monumental installation transforms Principal Place into a space for reflection, play, and connection.

Blurring the boundaries between art, architecture, and design, Temple of Relics invites visitors to explore its fragmented architectural forms - seating, towering columns, and sculptural elements - evoking the remnants of a lost sanctuary, reimagined for today.

At its core, Brewster’s urban folly reinterprets the classical Caryatid and ancient ruins, where sculptural urns, vases, and textured surfaces merge into a dynamic gathering place. A central obelisk-like form rises as a focal point, anchoring the space as both a monument and a meeting place.
