Exhibition

Creativity that nourishes communities. Each year, Canstruction® Toronto brings together professionals and students in design, architecture, and engineering to fight hunger through creativity.

Teams design and build structures made entirely from canned food within a 10’x10’x8’ space, competing for awards like Jurors’ Favourite, Best Use of Labels, Best Meal, and Structural Ingenuity.

After the exhibition, all structures are dismantled and the food is donated to the Daily Bread Food Bank—supporting thousands across the GTA.

Since 1999, Canstruction® Toronto has donated over a million pounds of food locally, and more than 50 million pounds globally through events in 150+ cities worldwide.
