Dressed for Pride

June 1 - July 31, 2026
Citypoint

A colorful, whimsical illustration of a crowded costume party set against a dark blue background. Around a long picnic table covered with blue-and-white checkered cloths, more than a dozen people of varying appearances wear imaginative outfits and props. Costumes include a clown, sailor, pirate, cowgirl riding a hobby horse, boxer, DJ, armored knight, roller skater, and several fantasy-inspired characters with oversized hats, wigs, masks, and bright accessories.

The scene is packed with playful objects: a tiered cake, pineapples, flowers, ropes, chains, juggling clubs, a spiked mace, candles, treasure chests, a spotted dog, party hats, masks, and DJ turntables. Figures interact casually—dancing, posing, serving cake, handling props, and socializing. The artwork uses bold neon colors such as pink, lime green, turquoise, orange, and purple, creating an energetic, festive atmosphere. The style is flat, hand-drawn, and highly decorative, with overlapping characters and surreal details filling nearly every part of the image.

This summer, Brookfield Properties is proud to present ‘Dressed for Pride’, a new commissioned artwork by acclaimed Liverpool-based illustrator Rosa Kusabbi. Known for her vibrant, unapologetic celebrations of queer identity and community, Rosa’s work will illuminate the Citypoint screen throughout Pride season, celebrating visibility, self-expression, and the diversity that strengthens our communities.
