Underground Art Series: Freeland Buck

Wouldn’t it be fun to walk through an art gallery every day on your way to work? Now you can! Brookfield Properties has turned the valet parking lobbies on P1 at Wells Fargo Center into a rotating exhibition space. Each installation will showcase the work of a living artist and most works on view will be for sale. Not interested in buying? No problem! Enjoy the art as you come and go, flex your art critic muscles, and savor the slice of culture that Brookfield Properties has brought to you.

The selected pieces include a series of prints featuring a patchwork of abstract images that play with distorted perspectives of a single physical space. These images represent a key component of FreelandBuck’s overarching ideology, which is that a space is defined by both its physical construction as well as the various narratives and perspectives ushered in by those who pass through.

Underground Art Series is free and open to the public as part of the ongoing effort to bring the public spaces of Brookfield Properties to life through music, film, interactive experiences, and visual art.
