'Tis the season for experiencing the joy of holiday traditions, old and new.
The holiday season has kicked off at Brookfield Properties shopping centers across the country! Of course the holidays wouldn’t be complete without a visit to the North Pole to capture magical moments with St. Nick, but that’s just the beginning of what we have in store. From holiday bells and light shows to Santa selfie moments, from pet nights with Santa to virtual sleigh rides, here’s a look at some of the special experiences we have planned this season.
Santa's Elevator Express™
Where: Natick Mall in Natick, Massachusetts
What: Our version of the Polar Express, this magical holiday experience takes children on an unforgettable elevator ride up to the top of our Christmas tree to see Santa's workshop in the North Pole. Once inside, visitors can spend quality time with Santa and his hardworking elves as they preprare for Christmas Day.
Sleigh It with Santa
Where: Providence Place in Providence, Rhode Island
What: Fly Santa’s sleigh and embark on a magical adventure. Join us to discover a virtual reality experience that captures the holiday spirit. And while you’re there, don’t forget to get your photos taken with Santa!
Santa Experiences
Where: Participating Brookfield Properties' shopping centers
What: From a bearded, tattooed Hipster Santa™ for a quintessentially Portlandia holiday moment, a Black Santa to provide children with an inclusive holiday experience, and a Selfies with Santa experience that allows visitors to capture magical moments with the Big Guy for free, there are many ways to visit with Santa this year.
Pet Nights
Where: Participating Brookfield Properties’ shopping centers
What: Shoppers are invited to bring their pets (dogs and/or cats) to visit Santa for a paws-itively good time and some unforgettable photos.
Santa Cares Day | Autism Speaks®
Where: Participating Brookfield Properties’ shopping centers
What: Santa Cares Day is a sensory-friendly Santa photo experience which takes place before the mall opens. Children within all spectrums of special needs and abilities are welcome.
The Wishing Forest©
Where: Participating Brookfield Properties' shopping centers
What: Celebrate the holiday season by stepping into the magic of The Wishing Forest©, a series of experiences that put a playful twist on classic holiday scenes. Make a holiday wish at the Wishing Tree Grove™, give back to the community at the Giving Grove™, meet Santa at the Memory Grove™, journey through a mysterious holiday soundscape at the Whispering Wishes Grove™, and unlock a symphony of holiday music and lights at Holiday Bells Grove™.
