Shantanu Chakraborty

Shantanu Chakraborty is Executive Vice President and Head of our India business for office in the South Region. 

He has been instrumental in building a scalable office development and management platform. Shantu is responsible for the region’s P&L, including projects, business development, leasing, tenant relationships and property management.

Shantanu has over 20 years of experience in the Real Estate industry across investment & asset management, with an ability to mitigate investment risks and enhance returns.

Prior to joining Brookfield Properties, he worked with AIG Global Real Estate India Advisors, JLL India, EvalueServe and M&K Consultant.

Shantanu holds a B.Arch degree from the School of Planning and Architecture (SPA), New Delhi and a master’s degree in business administration from Narsee Monjee Institute (NMIMS). He has also completed the General Management Program (GMP) from Harvard Business School.
