Jack Sylvan is Senior Vice President at Brookfield Properties’ development group, responsible for leading transformational urban mixed-use development projects in the San Francisco area, which includes the Pier 70, 5M and Stonestown Galleria assets.
Jack joined Brookfield in 2018 as part of the Forest City acquisition. Prior to that, Jack led complex public-private real estate development efforts for the San Francisco Mayor’s Office of Economic Development.
Jack holds a Master’s in Urban Planning from University of California, Berkeley and a Bachelor’s degree in environmental design from University of California, Davis. Jack serves on the board of SPUR, the premier urban policy thinktank for the San Francisco Bay Area and sits on the Policy Advisory Board for the Fisher Center for Real Estate and Urban Economics.
