Shane Pearson is Chief Operating Officer, Development at Brookfield Properties, responsible for the success and scale of our management company operations, with a focus on the execution and alignment of our strategic, investment and organizational goals. Shane also works with leaders across our operating businesses on organizational priorities and frameworks that enable growth of the platform.
 
Shane joined the company in 2001 and has held various senior executive roles, most recently as Chief Legal Officer for the Development group and Brookfield Residential, where he provided strategic and legal advice, as well as had overall responsibility for corporate operations and transaction execution.

Shane earned a law degree from the University of Toronto and an Environmental Science degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Waterloo.
