Simon Carney is Senior Vice President, Regional Counsel over Leasing, Development and Operational activities for Brookfield Properties Washington, DC region.

Simon joined Brookfield as part of Brookfield’s acquisition of Trizec Properties in 2006. Before Trizec, Simon served as Assistant Counsel for First Data Corporation in Atlanta, Georgia where he provided legal and business support for the company’s owned and leased real estate portfolio.

Simon holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Dayton School of Law and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Central Florida.
