Mathew Chandler

Mathew is the Executive Vice President of Marketing and Communications for Brookfield Properties in Australia and India. He also plays a lead coordination role for marketing activities in the Asia Pacific and Middle East region.

Mathew has over 30 years of experience in journalism and media, marketing and branding, public relations, government relations, investor relations and corporate communications. Prior to joining Brookfield Properties, Mathew managed his own corporate communications and brand agency, and before that held various senior roles with Colonial First State Global Asset Management and Multiplex. He is also a former Property Editor of Australia’s premier business publication, The Australian Financial Review.

Mathew was an industry-trained journalist and completed his formal cadetship with News Limited in 1994.
