Kirsten Lee is the Executive Vice President, Luxury Leasing, responsible for overseeing the strategic direction for Brookfield Properties’ high-street retail portfolio (New York City, San Francisco, Chicago, and Miami) as well as managing relationships between global luxury maisons such as Kering, LVMH, Richemont, Hermès, and CHANEL. With more than 20 years of experience in super-regional malls, mixed-use retail, resort retail, and ground-up developments, Kirsten’s tenant relationships range from luxury players to shopping center staples such as Apple, lululemon athletica, Starbucks, and Zara.

She recently secured the headline-making flagship Chopard deal on Fifth Avenue at the iconic landmark Crown Building in Manhattan, as well as new business with Dior, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, CHANEL, and others. Kirsten and her team are focused on the redevelopment opportunities of the Crown Building, 218 W. 57th Street, Brookfield Place New York, Brooklyn Commons, Manhattan West, and 200 Lafayette in SoHo.

Kirsten got her start in GGP’s third-party management group, where she helped build the Western U.S. mall retail portfolio, working with dozens of institutional and private equity clients such as UBS, Wattson Breevast LLC. (Deutsche Bank), Pacific Retail Capital Partners, Clarion, Wells Fargo, Oaktree Capital, and Crown Realty. Kirsten is a thought-leader in the retail leasing sector and is frequently interviewed by publications such as WSJ, Bloomberg, Fortune, and WWD, and spends her free time traveling to source the freshest retail trends. Kirsten is also the Editor-in-Chief of Iconic, an exclusive publication crafted for the luxury business.

Kirsten earned a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences from University of Oklahoma.
