Kathy Rugebregt serves as Chief People Officer of the U.S. retail business at Brookfield Properties, overseeing all aspects of the company’s human resources function, including talent acquisition, employee advocacy, learning and development, diversity and inclusion, total rewards, and compliance. She is at the forefront of driving organizational decisions that help balance both the company’s goals and employee’s needs. For almost two decades, Kathy has worked in nearly every facet of the department, underscoring the importance of analytics, communication, and strong cultural values. She is the executive sponsor of Brookfield Properties Cares.
Kathy graduated from Northern Illinois University with a bachelor’s in psychology.
