Ralph Toussie is Senior Vice President, General Counsel for Brookfield’s commercial development group. He oversees all legal aspects of the company’s North American development activities, with a focus on multifamily, office and mixed-use projects.
Prior to this role, Ralph served as Senior Vice President, Corporate Counsel for Brookfield’s U.S. office operating group, where he oversaw governance, compliance and regulatory matters. Since joining Brookfield in 2007, he has held senior legal roles across the organization, beginning as a Vice President in the legal department, where he advised on financings, acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, development projects, and other major strategic initiatives across the U.S. office portfolio.
Before joining Brookfield, Ralph was an attorney at Paul Hastings LLP.
Ralph holds a J.D. from New York University School of Law and a B.S., magna cum laude, from the New York University Stern School of Business.
