Shai Zelering is Global Head of Hospitality for Brookfield Properties and Managing Partner and Global Head of Hospitality Investments in Brookfield’s Real Estate Group. In this role, he is responsible for strategic portfolio management, investments, asset management, large-scale capital deployment, and disposition strategies across Brookfield’s global hospitality portfolio.
Before joining Brookfield Properties in 2014, Mr. Zelering worked for a dedicated lodging private equity firm and held various roles in hotel operations.
Shai holds a Master of Business Administration from Northwestern University’s J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor of Science degree from the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University. He also serves on the boards of Center Parcs in the U.K., Leela Palaces Hotels in India, and Atlantis Paradise Island in the Bahamas.
