Anna Lomax: Parade!
June 20, 2022 - September 30, 2022
Parade! is an installation by multidisciplinary artist and designer Anna Lomax, available for all to experience this summer at Principal Place.
Lomax remarks, "I love London, it’s somewhere full of surprises - each time you venture out new things are discovered and that’s what makes it so great; hidden gems, people, undiscovered places; new and old. Exploring and celebrating these unexpected interactions and moments were the inspiration for this installation.
The oversized gloss colourful forms represent the gems of the city, juxtaposed with the brushed aluminium dominos reflecting the landscape of the city. The materials create unexpected reflections, visual trickery, and illusions. The installation is somewhere to explore, reflect, relax and shelter; a place to remember why the city is such a great place to be."
Throughout July & August, join us to celebrate Parade! every Thursday from 5-7pm with our Summer Sounds DJ sessions!
