Summer Sounds: Outdoor Jam Sessions

Summer Sounds Outdoor Jam Sessions Sessions at Citypoint Plaza are a series of Wednesday lunchtime music sets featuring some of the best musicians in town. Held at Citypoint Plaza, the events offer the perfect opportunity to come eat lunch and grab a drink while enjoying some great music.

The events will feature a series of the best buskers and musicians in the business, from acoustic sets to musicians new EP's.

ABOUT THE DJs: 

• Ri Mistry is an emphatically London DJ. Her deep comprehensive knowledge of the London club scene comes from her work as a radio producer and now resident at Rinse FM, music programmer for The Standard London, and artist liaison at spaces like Corsica Studios and Peckham Audio. She also spotlights DJ she backs during her sessions and shows how the canon of UK dance music and sound system culture are deeply rooted in her selections.
• Josef France’s enthusiasm for music has always been off the charts, as is his desire to share that with those around him. A purveyor of infectious dance grooves since an early age. His musical abilities have landed him numerous gigs around the country and he is no stranger to playing on the radio. 
• Max Mistry is a talented and hugely accomplished DJ, producer, and sound engineer, with over 25 years of experience playing at legendary clubs, parties and events around the globe. He began DJing professionally in the late 80s, going and began to forge a career as a club DJ in London. His entertaining DJ sets span genres from classic funk and disco through house, jazz- funk, soul and hip hop, put together with flowing mixes and an unrivalled ability to keep a dance floor moving.
• Sophie Farrell is a vinyl DJ based in South East London. She is the Director of Sister Midnight and Founder of Social Records Society which is a community of vinyl lovers, party organisers and dancers who host record only club nights in SE London. Expect to delve into her vinyl collection which crosses genres and spans from white labels to global bass, disco to anything funky and that makes you groove.
• Marcus Bond is part of a new wave of DJs that offers technical excellence and a highly professional approach to his work.  As one of London’s top party DJs he regularly graces the turntables at some of London’s premier nightspots. With a lifetime exposure to the diverse London music and club scene, from feel-good funk and disco to the thrills of the West Ends top clubs such as DSTRKT, Project and Tiger Tiger.
