From Santa experiences to giving back, Brookfield Properties is delivering the spirit of joy this holiday season.
The holiday season is a special time at Brookfield Properties, and our elves have been hard at work creating unforgettable holiday experiences for our shopping center communities. Our malls will be awash in the sights, sounds, and scents of the season, putting everyone in a festive spirit as they check off their gift lists.
We’re bringing back many of the traditions our shoppers have come to expect like holiday bells, tree lighting ceremonies, pet nights, and Selfies with Santa, but this year, we’re introducing something new. We’ve launched a Gift of Giving donation with purchase program that allows shoppers to give back to those who are less fortunate.

Santa Experiences
Hipster Santa
The ultimate Portland alternative to traditional Santa, Hipster Santa at Pioneer Place has been a holiday staple in the community for the last seven years, enjoyed by both the young and young at heart.
Selfies With Santa
Capturing magical moments with the Big Guy is easier than ever at The SoNo Collection — and cost-free to boot! All you need is your phone or camera.
Pet Night
Pets love the holidays, too! Shoppers at participating Brookfield Properties malls are invited to bring their cats and dogs to visit Santa for a sweet photo opportunity.
Santa Cares
Children within all spectrums of special needs and abilities are invited to this sensory-friendly Santa experience at participating centers.
Elevator Express™
Our version of the Polar Express, this magical Natick Mall tradition takes children on an unforgettable elevator ride up to the top of our Christmas tree to see Santa’s workshop at the North Pole. Once inside, visitors can spend quality time with Santa and his hardworking elves as they prepare for Christmas Day.
Gift of Giving
From Nov. 25 through Dec. 24, shoppers who spend $200 (pre-tax) or more at our malls can submit their receipts online and Brookfield Properties Retail Inc. will donate $20 to Feeding America to benefit a local food bank. The maximum donation will be $100,000. See below for more details.
Holiday Bells Grove™
Create your own symphony of music and lights with each step as you play throughout the Holiday Bells Grove at The SoNo Collection. Your merry movements will ring the bells and illuminate the lights wherever you stand. Don't miss out on this energetic musical holiday experience!
Wishing Forest®
Step into the magic of the Wishing Forest© at Altamonte Mall. Make a holiday wish at the Wishing Tree Grove™, give back to the community at the Giving Grove™, meet Santa at the Memory Grove™, and journey through a holiday soundscape at the Whispering Wishes Grove™.
Donation with purchase details: When you spend $200 or more at a participating Brookfield Properties shopping center, $20 will be donated to Feeding America. From 11/25/22 through 12/24/22, spend $200 or more (pre-tax) at a participating mall and submit your receipts online at donationwithpurchase.com by 1/24/23 and Brookfield Properties Retail Inc. will donate $20 to Feeding America to benefit a local food bank. Hurry, this is a national promotion and the maximum donation to Feeding America will be $100,000. Gift card purchases cannot be applied towards $200+ spend amount.
