Surviving Humanity (2018) by Italian photographer and journalist Alberto Giuliani focuses on projects underway across the globe that aim to ensure ecological and societal longevity. Underscoring the urgency of environmental action, this selection of images and accompanying texts resonate with the architecture of the site, its glass atrium commonly described as the "crystal cathedral of commerce." In the heart of Toronto's financial district, Giuliani opens a dialogue about the future of the planet, the installation reflecting the question that motivated his explorations, posed by his children: "How will the world be when we grow up?"
